Richard has been repairing and servicing marine electronics for 30 years so he knows a huge amount about how they leak, corrode, explode & fail. With a strong sailing background, he is an enormously talented designer and has made custom displays for America’s Cup and many other projects.

Hugh Agnew, Director

Hugh, a Cambridge mathematician, has been designing navigation systems for oil & gas, military and yachting for his whole career. Sailing since a boy, he is a well respected navigator and instrument specialist on the racing circuit in crews winning Fastnets, Hobarts and many other regattas.

Nick Cherry Team Photo

Nick Cherry,
Technical Sales and Support

A Naval architect from Southampton University, Nick has a strong background in single and short-handed sailing, including Figaro campaigns.  He now sails as navigator or tactician on larger yachts. With a strong engineering background and boat-building experience, Nick brings huge energy and skill to A+T’s renowned technical support and sales. He sails and represents A+T at regattas worldwide.

Pete Simmonds,
Head of Sales

Originally from Sydney and now based in the UK, Pete will lead A+T’s sales in Superyachts and raceboats. Pete is well known in superyacht circles having captained boats including Saudade, P2, Escapade and was Electrical Technical Officer on S/Y Maltese Falcon.

Sarah Covey, Office Manager

Sarah has worked in the marine instrumentation business for 25 years, including with Brookes & Gatehouse when it was still based in Lymington in the 1980s. She is supported by the team across other areas of the business.

Jim Thom, Ambassador

Highly acclaimed sailor, captain and expert on large classic yachts. Jim will support A+T's continuing growth by introducing owners and captains from the classic fleet to A+T's outstanding range of instruments.
